Only if it’s put away wet. Shake it out and stand it bristles-up in open air to dry — not sealed in a cup or case. An occasional warm-water rinse keeps it fresh. Treated this way it won’t mould.
The bristles feel firm — is that okay for my gums?
Natural bristles want a lighter touch than plastic. Let the brush do the work instead of scrubbing. If your gums are very sensitive or receding, brush gently — you’ll still get a deep-clean feel without pressure.
